Iron Creek Classic Pond Hockey Tournament Information

Time.

First games are at 9 AM. You MUST have all members sign a team waiver form before your team hits the ice. You can have everyone sign ahead of time and email it to us or turn it in at the tourney check in table - click this link for the waiver. We have 3 rinks, so we can get 6 games in per hour. We would like the team captains there at 8:30 so we can answer any questions and address any concerns.

Location.

20912 Iron Creek Lake Road, Lead, SD.
Iron Creek Lake is a picturesque location, but please be safe getting here. Tinton Road is a little rough at times, a little slick at times, and a little of both at times. Give yourself plenty of time to get here as the road is a forest service road and may not be sanded regularly. We have alerted the county about the tournament, and they have stated they will come and sand the icy spots that may exist on Iron Creek Lake Road, but just in case they haven't, take it easy and use an abundance of caution.

Directions.

First off, we HIGHLY recommend carpooling as parking is limited. If you are coming from out of town, the fastest route to the lake is from Exit 8 off of Interstate 90. Go south on Old Belle Road, which quickly becomes McGuigan Rd. After 2.8 miles Mcguigan Road becomes Tinton Road which you will travel for another 9.7 miles to Beaver Creek Road. Turn right there and continue up Beaver Creek Road for a short 4/10ths of a mile, and then turn left on Iron Creek Lake Road. Continue on Iron Creek Lake Road until you reach the location. Parking will be to the left once you are at the bottom of the hill.
